A five-day intensive where serious young musicians learn to lead worship with excellence, faith, and servant-hearted purpose.
About the Camp
Your student has a gift. This camp is where that gift gets refined, rooted in faith, and put in service of something greater than performance.
The Bridgeway Worship Arts Camp is a five-day intensive experience for intermediate and advanced young musicians who sense a calling to lead worship. Held on the campus of Forest Hill Church in the South Park area of Charlotte, students will train alongside leading professional worship musicians from the Charlotte area — learning not just how to play, but how to lead a congregation into the presence of God with excellence, humility, and intentionality.
This is an audition-only camp. Students who are accepted have demonstrated readiness to grow, and will be stretched accordingly. The week culminates in a live worship showcase on Friday, where families are invited to witness what their students have built together.
“We are not training performers. We are forming servant leaders who happen to play instruments.”
What Students Will Learn
Rooted in modern contemporary Christian music, students will be shaped musically, spiritually, and as servant leaders.
How to lead congregants in worship with clarity, presence, and a Christ-centered focus — not as a performer, but as a guide.
How to design and deliver a worship experience that is excellently crafted and keeps the congregation’s attention on God, not the stage.
How to listen, support, and serve one another musically within a full worship band — unity, dynamics, and team chemistry.
How to steward limited rehearsal time well — preparation strategy, communication, and building a culture of musical excellence.
The heart posture behind great worship leadership — humility, accountability, and understanding that the platform is a place of service.
Open Instruments & Roles
The camp is open to a full worship band lineup. All instrumentalists play directly into the house system — no amplifiers required on stage.
Music covered during the camp will be drawn from modern contemporary Christian music by leading artists in the genre today.
